Our efforts to bring relief to the hurting and to help alleviate the number of deaths in the region took us to the cities of Barreirinha and Nhamunda to make deliveries to their hospitals.

Buckets filled with hygiene items and sanitary gel dispensers that were donated by World Vision were dropped at the hospitals. The Indian Health Department. gave oxygen concentrators to these hospitals and we took some to the offices of the Indian Health Department.

The healthcare system in Manaus and Parintins is still in major distress and they need all of the help they can get. They are so bad off that the people in the villages try to stay away and often they never get to a hospital for the treatment they need.
